Which Maca is the best?

The quality differences of Maca roots between the different cultivation areas are very large. Therefore, only products based on Maca roots from Junin, Peru, which have been cultivated traditionally and pesticide-free by small farmers, are recommended. Maca products of high quality are made from the dark Maca roots (black and red-purple). In these, the typical properties of Maca are much more pronounced and therefore always preferable. The selection of the roots according to size and growth also represents an essential quality feature.

Concentrated products – why?

If you consider that people in the growing regions often consume 50-100g of Maca per day and compare that to the 1-5g recommended in western countries, it is not surprising that many people do not yet know the effects of Maca.
